How does a scan work?

You enter your website, trade, city and email. We ask ChatGPT Search, Gemini and Google AI Overviews 12 questions a customer in your city would ask, save every answer with its sources, and check your site for the gaps that keep you out of those answers.

Why do my results change from week to week?

AI answers are not fixed. The same question can get a different answer an hour later, from a different place, or after a model update. A scan is a dated sample, so the trend over several weeks matters more than any single number.

Why isn't AI naming my business?

Usually because the pages and listings AI reads describe your competitors more clearly than you: services, service areas, hours, reviews and mentions on other sites. Your report shows the sources behind each answer and the fixes for each gap.

How long do fixes take to work?

Most fixes take 10 to 45 minutes to publish, and our next weekly check confirms they are live. AI answers take longer to catch up, usually weeks rather than days, because the AI has to find and trust the new information. Nobody can promise a date.

What do Starter and Pro include?

Starter ($49 CAD / month) tracks one business in one market with 12 prompts, weekly checks, history and copy-ready fixes. Pro ($129 CAD / month) adds up to 3 markets, up to 36 prompts including your own, exports and priority support.

How does billing work?

Plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can update your card or see invoices from Settings with Manage billing.

How do I cancel?

Go to Settings, find your business under Plan & usage and choose Cancel plan. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your reports stay in your account.

Can I get a refund?

Payments aren't refundable once the period they pay for has started, including partial months and unused time on yearly plans. We always refund duplicate charges and charges made in error: email us within 60 days.

How do promo codes and referrals work?

When we run an offer, the banner says its discount and end date, and it applies automatically at checkout. Paying customers get a referral link: a friend who signs up gets their first month free, and you get a month free when they pay for their second.

How do I change my market or add prompts?

Your market is the city or area we ask about. Starter tracks one market and 12 standard questions; you can change its city in Settings once a week. Pro lets you add up to 3 markets and write your own questions, up to 36 in total.

How do I send fixes to my web person?

On the Fixes page, choose the fixes, then Send to my web person, and enter up to three email addresses. They get a plain-language brief with the copy-ready changes, and their replies come to you.

What do you do with my data, and how do I delete it?

We use your information only to run your scans, reports and plan. We don't sell it. In Settings you can download a copy of your data or delete your account and reports yourself; for a free report without an account, email us.

Is this SEO?

It overlaps. SEO is about ranking in a list of links; we measure whether AI answers name you and which sources they trust. The fixes are ordinary, honest work on your site and listings that also helps local search.

How do weekly checks work?

On a paid plan we check each of your markets automatically every 7 days, with the same questions, and add the result to your history. If something changed, like a competitor getting named, we email you.

What does “You got named” mean?

It means an AI engine now names your business for a question where it didn't before, and it did so on 2 weekly checks in a row. We wait for the second check because AI answers vary, and one lucky answer isn't proof.

What does “Named in X of Y checks” mean?

It's how many of your recent weekly checks named you for a question, for example ChatGPT Search 3/6 means 3 of the last 6 checks. AI answers vary from run to run, so a count over several checks tells you more than any single check.

When you start a paid plan, your dashboard picks the 3 changes from your own scan with the most impact, with steps for each. Mark each one done as you publish it; the next weekly check confirms it's live.

How does the Google review kit work?

On a paid plan, the review kit on the Fixes page gives you your Google review link, a printable QR card and a message to send after each job. It follows Google's rules: ask every customer for an honest review, with no filtering and no rewards.

What is the Google Business Profile score?

A score out of 100 for how complete your Google Business Profile is: claimed, open, categories, description, hours, website, phone, photos, reviews and more. AI answers for local services read these profiles. 80 or more passes.

How do I print a report or save it as a PDF?

Open the report and choose Download PDF at the top. Your browser's print window opens: pick Save as PDF to keep a file, or a printer to print it. It works on every finished report, free ones included.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Yes, in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD or NZD. We pick the currency from where you are, you can change it under the prices, and checkout charges exactly the price you saw. Your plan renews in that currency.

Can I pause or switch to a cheaper plan instead of cancelling?

Yes. When you choose Cancel plan, we ask why, and may offer one option that fits: a 1 or 2 month pause, 50% off 2 monthly invoices, a switch from Pro to Starter, or a free 15-minute review. You can always skip it and cancel.

How do I export my results to a spreadsheet?

On Pro, go to Settings, find your business, and under Report history choose Download CSV. You get one row per question, engine and check, which opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

How do I change my city?

Go to Settings, find Tracked markets under your business and choose Edit next to your main city. You can change it once a week, on any plan. Past reports keep the city they were run for.

Is Cited available in French or Spanish?

Yes. The site, the app, your reports and our emails are in English, French and Spanish. Choose your language from the language menu on our website. The AI answers and fix drafts stay in English for now.
