What to fix first
Ranked by how much each one should help AI find you and trust you.
01
Your site's code doesn't say you're a local business
The site has basic business code (usually added by an SEO plugin), but not the local version with the address, phone, hours and services that local AI answers look for.
Add a short block of business details to your site's code, matching what your pages already say.
02
Professional review context is incomplete
We couldn't confirm one or more of these on your pages: the lawyer responsible, their credentials, where they're licensed, their practice areas, or a legal disclaimer.
Have the responsible professional verify lawyer biographies, licensed jurisdictions, practice scope, and disclaimers before publishing.
03
No Google Business Profile found
Cited could not find a Google Business Profile for Harbour & Pine Law in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. AI answers for local services lean on these profiles.
Complete the Google Business Profile: categories, description, hours, website, photos, reviews and services.

Your fixes, step by step
01
Add your business details to your site's code
Confirm facts
Add a short block of business details to your site's code, matching what your pages already say.
Why it helps: AI tools read this hidden code to confirm what Harbour & Pine Law does, that you work in Toronto and when you're open, instead of guessing from your pages.
Done when: your web person has put the code on your homepage and checked it. The next check confirms it for you.
What you do
1Send this to whoever runs your website. It's a short piece of code that tells Google and AI tools your business name, services, area and hours.
2They paste it into your homepage. It takes about 15 minutes and changes nothing your customers see.
3Your next check confirms it is on your homepage.
Show the code for your web person
Not sure what this is? Send it to your web person. If you edit the site yourself, paste it inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag in the <head> of your homepage.
Notes for your web person
Paste this once, on the homepage. It is invisible to visitors; it tells Google and AI tools your name, phone, address, hours and services.
Every detail in it must also be visible on your site. Google ignores, and can penalise, markup that says things the page does not.
Your site already has Organization markup, usually from Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO. Keep it: this block adds the local details it lacks. In Yoast or Rank Math you can also switch the site type to a local business.
Replace each [ADD: ...] value with your real details before pasting. If you hide your street address on Google because you go to customers, delete the streetAddress line instead.
No hours were found, so they are left out. Add your hours to the site and Google Business Profile first.
Optional extras your web person can add if you know them: geo (latitude and longitude to 5 decimal places), priceRange (e.g. "$$"), and a logo or photo URL.
Do not add star ratings to this code. Google does not show stars for a business's own markup, and copying your Google rating into it breaks Google's review rules.
If your site already has a LocalBusiness block (Yoast Local SEO, Rank Math Local SEO, or a theme setting), update that one instead of adding a second.
Check it after publishing at https://search.google.com/test/rich-results or https://validator.schema.org.
The responsible lawyer must approve professional, practice-area, and jurisdiction details.

Fair questions
Is this just SEO?
It overlaps. SEO is about ranking in a list of links; we check whether AI answers name you and which sources they trust. The fixes are ordinary, honest work on your site and listings that also helps local search. If you have an SEO person, send them the fixes: they'll recognise them.
Not yet, and we won't make them up. We're new, and no customer has been with us long enough for a fair before and after. So there are no testimonials or invented numbers here. What you can check yourself: every answer in this report is saved with its date, and each weekly check asks the same questions again, so you see any change with your own eyes.
Most fixes take 10 to 45 minutes to publish, and the next weekly check confirms they are live. AI answers can take weeks to change, and may not change at all. Look at the trend over four to eight weekly checks. Nobody can promise a date.
No, and be wary of anyone who does: the AI companies control their own answers. What we promise is the evidence. The same questions every week, every answer saved, and a clear record of what changed.
Not always. Many fixes are text you paste into your site or your Google profile. For code like structured data, each fix can be sent straight to whoever runs your site.
