How does a scan work?

A scan answers one question: when someone in your area asks AI who to hire, does it name you? It takes your website, your trade, your city and an email address for the report. No account or card is needed.

What happens

1. We write 12 questions for your trade and city, the kind real customers ask: emergencies, availability, cost, specific services and who to trust.
2. Each question goes to ChatGPT Search, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, through a search-data provider that captures the real consumer answers. That is up to 36 answers.
3. We save every answer with the time it was captured and the sources it cited, and note which businesses it named.
4. We read a few public pages of your site and check the basics AI relies on: clear services, service areas, hours, business details and structured data.
5. The report shows how often you were named, who was named instead, which sources the answers leaned on, and copy-ready fixes for each gap.

Your score

Your answer share is the number of answers that named you divided by the number of completed answers. Google only shows an AI Overview for some searches, so a search with no Overview is shown as unavailable and left out of the count. The report always shows both numbers, so a percentage can't hide a small sample.

How long it takes

The first answers usually appear within seconds. Most reports are complete within a few minutes. You can close the page; we email the link when it's ready.

Limits on free scans

To keep the free scan free, each website can be scanned once a day, and each email address and network has a small daily allowance. If you hit a limit, try again tomorrow or contact us.
